Child care Ministry (CCM) is a Christian based charity organization that envisions a Community where children and youth have the opportunity to thrive and the systems (spiritual, social emotional, Physical and economic barriers) that oppress them are dismantled.
CCM was started by former sponsored child of Compassion International. After finishing school and graduating the sponsorship program, Nelson realized that there were many others behind that were passing through hard situations that he was in before that needed to be supported and he tried to help to the end of his means and the need was simply too big for him alone. As a younger man, he realized that he, alone, could not help those who needed it but he could advocate for them to create a network with others who, together, could change the world He talked to his former sponsors Mr. and Mrs. Bret and Mary Berth Blanchard about the struggle that was in his heart versus what his hands could do. His sponsor told a similar story which led to the birth of CCM.
All over Uganda, there are children whose parents can barely manage to support them with scholastic materials like, books pens, school fees etc. which makes them fail to have access to quality education thus leaving them in the cycle of poverty. There are people, like you, who want to help.
We bring together those who need help and those who will help. We are not the answer to the problem. We are simply the voice to the voiceless, calling to the ears of those who will not allow the problem to go unanswered.
